Interflora Flower School brings a bit of festive floral delight
The first ever Interflora Flower School is being tipped to attract florists in Harrow, florists in Wimbledon and florists in Fulham to share their floral passion and learn some brand new flower arranging techniques and designs in time for Christmas and next summer.
The school will run classes in the West End of London throughout November and December, beginning on the 23rd of November with some of the best florists in the country as tutors. Everybody will be keen to share their ideas on floristry and the classes will provide the perfect environment in which to do that.
The sole aim of the classes is to raise awareness and enhance creativity in the wonderful world of floristry, so floral fans are ready to warm up their homes with bright red poinsettias in the most creative way possible.
Floristry won’t be the only delight of the classes, however, as it is due to be housed in a beautiful Georgian townhouse that goes by the name of Chandos House in the middle of the West End. The townhouse is tipped to be filled for every class, all of which run in the afternoon as well as in the evening to cater for all work patterns.
As well as brightening up your own home, the classes will present the perfect chance to create some unique and alternative gifts for your loved ones this Christmas. Flowers always go down well, especially if some thought and effort has gone into creating and arranging them.
The experts who will be in control of the classes are some of the best florists in the land. The former RHS Florist of the Year and, according to The Independent newspaper, one of the top 50 florist in the UK, Sarah Horne will be sharing her wealth of experience to the floral fans who join her on the course.
David Ragg and Karen Barnes, who have both previously won gold medals at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, will also be on hand to pass on their expertise. Mr Ragg is a well-established florist who has represented the UK at both the Interflora World Cup and Europa Cup.
Every expert has years of experience that they are more than willing to share with their fellow floral enthusiasts, so don’t hesitate to pop on down to one of the sessions at the Interflora Flower School at a time that suits you.
